Each year, Northeast Passage runs more than 15 events to introduce people of all abilities to the options they have for cycling. Many participants have never been on a bike or have never found one that works for them. For others, it has been years since they have had the opportunity to ride.

The Adaptive Cycling program offers participants the support necessary to cycle with friends and family. Each year, Northeast Passage hosts introductory clinics and organized group rides, as well as individual consultations for people with disabilities.

Northeast Passage has skilled instructors, avid cyclists of all abilities as volunteers, and a wide selection of adapted cycles to fit each individual’s needs. All cycles are available for rent and use during program time. From tandems to recumbents and handcycles, Northeast Passage’s staff can assist in identifying the appropriate cycle, make recommendations and adjustments so you can get out and ride!
