Program teaches Little Harbour students about life with disabilities

PORTSMOUTH — Little Harbour students recently learned first-hand that people with disabilities are no different than those without.

“It’s time to see people with disabilities as equals,” said Chandler Bullard, Northeast Passage Program specialist, who brought the program’s Similarity Awareness teaching series to Little Harbour’s gym classes last Thursday. Founded in 1990, Northeast Passage is based at the University of New Hampshire and provides disability-related education and adapted sports games.
