EnviroVantage™

EnviroVantage™ is the leading environmental and remediation contractor serving commercial, industrial and residential clients in New England, specializing in hazardous material remediation, demolition, duct cleaning and fire and water restoration.

Scott Knightly laid the groundwork for EnviroVantage 32 years ago after working a historical restoration job that was laden with lead paint.  Scott saw an opportunity to improve environmental conditions for workers, as well as the public, and realized a business opportunity in building a contracting company that could safely and efficiently handle jobsite environmental remediation.  This realization led Scott to form the first licensed lead abatement company in New Hampshire called Lead Source, which would eventually evolve into EnviroVantage.

Forging ahead as a pioneer in the abatement industry, Scott began to tackle other dangerous materials and contaminants found on jobsites including asbestos, PCB’s and mercury.  This expertise led Scott to work in conjunction with state regulators in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts to adopt policies and procedures that his company developed, positioning EnviroVantage as a regional leader in environmental clean-up and historic restoration.

Today, EnviroVantage employs dozens of people with locations in Westbrook, Maine and Epping, New Hampshire and has developed relationships with well-known New England businesses, efficiently completing contracts on jobsites of all sizes including on some of New England’s most important historical sites.

Tonya Knightly, CFO of EnviroVantage and wife of Scott Knightly, became involved with Northeast Passage in 2004 when she rode in the first Northeast Passage Three Notch Century cycle ride in the White Mountains.  Since then, Tonya has become a well-known figure at NEP, not only as a top fundraiser and support rider in the Three Notch Century event, but also volunteering as skilled support staff in the NEP waterskiing program.  In addition to Tonya’s commitment, EnviroVantage contributes as an annual underwriter to Northeast Passage's celebration fundraiser.

Tonya’s hands-on approach to supporting Northeast Passage exemplifies how EnviroVantage and its employees regularly go above and beyond financially supporting causes that serve the communities they do business in.  From corporate sponsorships of education, sports, arts, youth and family initiatives to in-kind donations renovating and repairing facilities for organizations and individuals in need, EnviroVantage continues to leave a positive and lasting impact on the community.
