Northeast Passage is pleased to make our inventory of 700+ pieces of adaptive recreation equipment available for rent to individuals with disabilities and their families. We strive to have a wide selection available and to keep pace with what is available on the market.
How it works...
If you would like a chance to see and try a variety of options, we offer private Equipment Consultations. Appointments are available at the Northeast Passage office to view and try our adaptive equipment and learn more about the programs we offer. Appointments are made with one of our Recreation Therapists and are offered Monday-Friday between 9-5:00pm. Consults are $40 and are based on your interests and goals. A scheduled appointment is required.
We encourage you to view our inventory by category and subcategory to narrow down your selection. Northeast Passage does not offer offer any Adaptive Downhill Ski Equipment Rentals (sit skis, outriggers, etc.). Our suggestion is to reach out to a nearby mountain's adaptive ski program regarding lessons and equipment use (mountains in New Hampshire with adaptive programs).
Once you've decided on the item you would like to rent, please contact us to determine availability and we will confirm your reservation.
Details
- We rent for periods of one day up to two weeks for items in season. A longer term rental may be possible based on availability.
- Equipment must be picked up from the Northeast Passage office in Durham, New Hampshire during our business hours (Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm). Our office is not open on weekends. We do not ship our equipment for rentals.
- Payment is required at the time of pick up, unless prior arrangements have been made (we can invoice for equipment rentals). We accept check, cash and all major credit cards.
- Advanced reservations are required.
